How this site makes money
Right now: it doesn't. As of July 28, 2026 there are no advertisements, no affiliate links, no sponsored content, and no paid placements anywhere on StubMath.
If that changes
The plan is to eventually add reviews of payroll services, and those reviews may carry affiliate links (meaning we'd earn a commission if you sign up through them). When that happens:
- Every affiliate link will be disclosed at the point of use, on the page where it appears — not only here.
- Reviews will be based on accounts we actually opened and payrolls we actually ran, with screenshots. No first-hand use, no review.
- Calculators will never be gated, degraded, or biased to favor a paying partner.
- This page will be updated the same day the first affiliate link goes live.
Your data
Calculations run entirely in your browser — the numbers you type are never sent anywhere. This site loads zero external resources: no analytics scripts, no ad trackers, no fonts from third-party CDNs, no cookies. You can verify this claim from your browser's network panel, which will show no requests leaving this domain.
Why so bare?
Two reasons. Speed is the product — the calculator computes before your first keystroke, and every third-party script would tax that. And a site that asks you to trust its arithmetic shouldn't make you wonder what else it's doing in the background.
